Today, the Upside partnership publishes Upside Voices, bringing together the experiences of people supported by Scotland’s national voluntary throughcare service.

The Emergency Early Release programme has been challenging for Upside. Our chief concern is the impact limited pre-release time has on people’s ability to access essential supports on release, and the resulting increased risk of reoffending because of poor outcomes.
